Doug Workman has been skiing all his life and climbing for more than twenty years. Doug is a full-time mountain guide specializing in steep ski mountaineering descents. He has held the rope for many on the Grand Teton’s Ford Coulior, and opened the door for many more on Valdez Alaska’s steepest runs while guiding for Valdez Heli-Ski Guides.

In the Fall of 2009, he was ski guiding on the Antarctic Peninsula for both Ice Axe Expeditions and Chris Davenport Productions. Doug has put up first ascents in Alaska’s Kichatna Range, Pakistan’s Karakoram, and China’s Tien Shan Mountains. He has skied off the summit of Denali and made more laps down the Grand Teton than any other, including a descent of the Otterbody Snowfield with Doug Coombs as seen in the HD movie "The Waiting Game."
