Kami Semick

In 2009, Kami Semick became the second American in history — man or woman — to win a World Championship in Ultra Running. Kami won the World Cup 100km in Belgium in June 2009. She then went on to win the World Trophy 50k in Gibraltar in October 2009.

Her 2009 victories follow a very successful 2008 Ultra Running season where Kami was named Ultra Runner of the Year by Ultra Running Magazine. She has also been recognized twice by USATF as Athlete of the Week for her performances at the World level. Kami is a multi-time USATF National Champion with victories in the 50 km Trail, 50km Road, and 50 mile Trail distances.

In her spare time, Kami enjoys skiing, climbing and generally hanging out in Bend, Oregon, with her daughter, Baronie, and husband, Tyson.
